Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Surpasses 300,000 Copies Sold

A 'special project' will be released to celebrate the game's 1st anniversary.

Dragami Games announced Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP has surpassed 300,000 copies sold worldwide. The company thanks fans for supporting Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP as it reached 300,000 copies sold, and a “special project” will be released to celebrate the game’s first 1st anniversary in September.

Previously, Nada Holdings and Dragami Games announced a new Lollipop Chainsaw game and anime are now in the works. The development team of the new game involves key staff members that were part of the previous Lollipop Chainsaw game, and an official X (formerly Twitter) account for the upcoming project has been opened.

“Under the strong partnership between Nada Holdings and Dragami Games, development is already underway on a brand-new Lollipop Chainsaw title that both preserves and builds upon the appeal of the original,” a press release from July 2025 read. “With a firm commitment to honoring the spirit of the original work, the development team includes key staff members who were involved in the previous title. The new project is also being developed with close attention to fan feedback.”

Nada Holdings and Dragami Games also announced a partnership to jointly develop and launch new Lollipop Chainsaw projects as part of an IP development initiative. The initiative aims to expand the franchise through multifaceted projects and cross-industry collaborations, which could more than just games and anime.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game runs at 1080p at 30 FPS on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Lastly, the Xbox One version may be upgraded to the Xbox Series X|S version via Smart Delivery.
