A new trailer for Let This Grieving Soul Retire! Season 2 confirms that the anime will premiere on October 6 at 11:30 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX and BS NTV. The anime will air on the Sun TV, MBS, and AT-X channels as well.
Kiyono Yasuno performs the opening theme song “Algorithm.” i☆Ris performs the ending theme song “Yume no Hitokakera (Fragment of a Dream).”

Tsukikage initially launched Let This Grieving Soul Retire! in January 2018, and its story ended that following December. The 13th volume released on September 30, 2024, and J-Novel Club will release the seventh novel volume in English on May 19, 2025.
Additionally, Kadokawa published a manga adaptation in April 2019 by Rai Habino. Kadokawa released 10 compiled book volumes of the manga thus far. Yen Press publishes the manga in English.
