During the Aniplex Online Fest 2025 event on Saturday, the staff and additional cast members were revealed for the upcoming The Irregular at Magic High School THE MOVIE Yotsuba Succession Arc anime. The event also unveiled a new teaser, which confirmed the anime’s 2026 release window.

Tsutomu Satou’s hit light novel series debuted in 2008 and concluded with the 32nd volume in September 2020. Yen Press publishes the original light novel series and Yu Mori’s The Honor Student at Magic High School spinoff manga.
The Irregular at Magic High School anime first aired in April 2014 and consisted of 26 episodes. A second season, titled The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc, premiered in October 2020 and ran for 13 episodes. Meanwhile, the third season premiered in April 2024.
Additionally, the anime franchise also includes The Irregular at Magic High School: The Movie- The Girl Who Summons the Stars, which aired in 2017. Moreover, The Honor Student at Magic High School manga inspired an anime adaptation, which aired in 2021.
