During Aniplex Online Fest 2025, Aniplex revealed four more cast members, the third promotional video, and a new key visual for the anime adaptation of Shibata’s Tojima Wants to be a Masked Rider, which premieres on October 4.

The cast of Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider anime includes:
- Katsuyuki Konishi as Tanzaburō Tōjima
- Ai Kayano as Yuriko Okada
- Kenichi Suzumura as Ichiyo Shimamura
- Sōma Saitō as Mitsuha Shimamura
- Fairouz Ai as Yukarisu
- Satoshi Tsuruoka as Satoshi Itō (new)
- Fukushi Ochias as Fukushi Ishige (new)

Takahiro Ikezoe is the director of the Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider anime. Touko Machida is the series composition writer, and Cindy H. Yamauchi is the character designer. TeddyLoid is the composer, and LIDENFILMS is producing the anime. The opening theme “Wanna Be” will be performed by Teddyloid feat. Shigeru Matsuzaki accelerated by TOPHAMHAT-KYO.

Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider will air on Tokyo MX and other channels, as indicated on the official website.
Shibata first launched the manga with cooperation from Ishimori Productions and Toei in the Monthly Hero’s magazine in 2018. The manga later moved to the Comiplex website, where it is still ongoing. Lastly, Hero’s published the 16th compiled volume on April 4.
