The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Coffee’s Wandance hip-hop dance manga announced the anime’s October 8 premiere, new cast and staff members, and the opening and ending theme songs. Yaffle performs the insert song “Kujira (feat. Sahnya),” BE:FIRST performs the opening theme song “Stare In Wonder,” and ELSEE performs the ending theme song “Wonderous.”
Wandance will premiere on TV Asahi and affiliated channels first on October 8, followed by Disney+ Star on October 9, AT-X on October 10 and BS Asahi on October 11. The anime will also come to several streaming services, including Amazon Prime Video, d Anime Store, DMM TV, J:COM STREAM, milplus, TELASA, Lemino, Fuji TV On Demand, Bandai Channel, Nico Nico Channel, Google TV, YouTube, Happy! Douga, OnGen Movie, MOVIEFULL, MOVIEFULL Plus, Video Market, music.jp, and Kantele Doga.
Michiya Katō directs the anime, writes the scripts, and handles visual effects at Madhouse and Cyclone Graphics. Dancer, choreographer, and singer RIEHATA is the anime’s dance producer.

Michiya Katō directs the series at Madhouse and Cyclone Graphics Inc. Coffee started writing the manga in 2019. Kodansha describes the series as follows:
Kaboku Kotani is starting high school, and he plans to do what he’s always done: go along with his friends, keep quiet, and not to draw too much attention to himself. After all, it’s hard enough to get by with a stutter like his—why make things worse by standing out from the crowd?
