GungHo Online Entertainment and Nihon Falcom released a new trailer for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter highlighting the game’s battle system. Players can test out the battle system in the Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Prologue demo, which features the game’s entire prologue chapter and supports save data transfers over to the full game.
Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter launches September 19 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam worldwide. What’s more, a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be released digitally on September 19 with higher frame rates and resolution. Fans who purchase Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter on Switch can upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition ($1 upgrade pack fee).
The Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter SteelBook Edition ($79.99) will be available on launch day, September 19, while the Bracer Edition ($179.99) will be delivered between November 15 and December 15. A Launch Celebration Pack will be available to all players two weeks after the game’s launch for a one-month period, but it will always be available to those who purchase one of the two Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Collector’s Editions.
What’s more, Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter will receive various DLC packs, which will be released between September 19 and October 2. The Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter DLC packs feature various cosmetics and additional items.
