GungHo Online Entertainment and Nihon Falcom released the free Prologue demo for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter on Nintendo Switch in the Nintendo eShop. The Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter demo is already available now on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. As previously announced, the demo contains the prologue chapter of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, and save data transfers over to the full game.
What’s more, a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter will be released digitally on September 19 with higher frame rates and resolution. Fans who purchase Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter on Switch can upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition ($1 upgrade pack fee).
Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter launches September 19 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam worldwide. North American fans can pre-order the Standard Edition at retail and Collector’s Editions through Limited Run Games now. European fans can pre-order the Standard Edition and the Collector’s Edition through Clear River Games and other major retailers.
The Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter SteelBook Edition ($79.99) will be available on launch day, September 19, while the Bracer Edition ($179.99) will be delivered between November 15 and December 15. A Launch Celebration Pack will be available to all players two weeks after the game’s launch for a one-month period, but it will always be available to those who purchase one of the two Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Collector’s Editions.
