KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME Update Adds Sagan Shinomiya and Main Story Chapter 3

Akatsuki Games TOHO CO., and Production I.G released a new update for mobile turn-based RPG KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME featuring new 5-star character [Dimensionally Distorted Destiny] Sagan Shinomiya, Kikoru Shinomiya’s non-blood related older sister. In addition to Sagan Shinomiya and a new 5-star SH-Iuggnil weapon, Sagan’s dedicated character story and Chapter 3 of the main story were also added to KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME.

Here’s a story synopsis for the story’s third chapter:

Overwhelmed by her regular duties and irregular Dimensional Kaiju disasters, Mina Ashiro finds herself pushed to her limits. In response, Sagan Shinomiya of CLOZER is sent to the Third Division to offer support. Though Sagan’s skills are powerful and undeniable, her cooperation with other Defense Force members is a source of tension. In the midst of these circumstances, a new Dimensional Gate emerges…

KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME is available now for Android and iOS, and a PC (Steam) version is coming soon. Fans can also catch up with Kaiju No. 8 Season 2, which is streaming with English dubs and subs on Crunchyroll. This is in addition to all 12 episodes of the first season and the side story episode “Hoshina’s Day Off.” Aurora performs the opening theme song “You Can’t Run From Yourself.” OneRepublic performs the ending theme song “Beautiful Colors.”
