IzanagiGames has announced full-scale live-action game AKIBA LOST, co-produced with Nippon Television Network Corporation and Nippon Television AX-ON Inc. AKIBA LOST launches in 2026 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, and pre-orders for the Standard Package Edition and the Made-to-Order Special Collection Box will open on Wednesday, September 24.
AKIBA LOST will feature roughly 20 hours of gameplay to reach the ending, more than 100,000 still images, and over 20 hours of filmed footage as a “large-scale live-action title.” Starring Hiromitsu Kitayama, players will be able to switch perspectives (“zapping”) between the protagonist Shinjo and six female characters to uncover the truth behind the story.

IzanagiGames previously announced a reduction to the price of action-adventure game World’s End Club to just $19.99 and released a PlayStation 5 version of the game. World’s End Club is an intriguing title brought to fans by Zero Escape series creator Kotaro Uchikoshi and Danganronpa / Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE creator Kazutaka Kodaka. In this title, a group of Tokyo elementary school students form the “Go-Getters Club” and find themselves trapped at an underwater theme park when disaster strikes.
