HoYoverse announced Genshin Impact Version Luna I: “Song of the Welkin Moon: Segue” launches on September 10. The update continues the main story of Genshin Impact as players team up with Nod-Krai companions to take on the Fatui, the Wild Hunt, and the Fatui Harbinger Sandrone in the all-new Archon Quest.
Genshin Impact Version Luna I brings a number of different features, including Lunar Reactions and the Lunar-Bloom reaction. Players will harness Kuuvahki energy for exploration, and multiple new characters will join the roster, including Lauma, Flins, and Aino. The new Meeting Points feature lets players explore the daily lives of these characters.
To celebrate the arrival of the Nod-Krai region, players will earn free 5-star characters, Primogems ×1,600, Intertwined Fate ×10, and much more when the update launches. Players can also earn extra 5-star Stella Fortuna to help characters reach the new maximum Level 100, and there will be more updates on Artifacts, Party Setup and Adventure EXP.
Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Windows and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is currently in development, but a release date has not been announced yet. Support for the PlayStation 4 version of Genshin Impact will be ending on April 8, 2026 (UTC+8). According to HoYoverse, support on PS4 is ending due to hardware performance limitations and the application size of Genshin Impact going forward.
On September 10, 2025, Genshin Impact will be delisted from the PlayStation Store on PS4. In-game purchases will be removed completely on February 25, 2026. In addition, the minimum specifications of Genshin Impact will be changing with the end of support for the PS4 version.
