The staff for the upcoming anime adaptation of Sou Akaike’s Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord: Production Magic Turns a Nameless Village into the Strongest Fortified City light novel released the first promotional video along with the key visual.

The cast of the Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord anime includes:

Akaike’s hit novel made its debut on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website on May 15, 2020. Overlap Bunko started publishing the light novel series with illustrations by Kururi in September 2021. The eighth volume shipped on August 25. In February 2022, Aoiro began publishing the manga on Overlap’s Comic Gardo website. The manga’s seventh compiled book volume was shipped on April 25.
Lastly, Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in English and describes the story as follows:
