During the “YouTube Music Weekend 10.0” livestream, HoneyWorks announced that their “Confess Your Love Committee” project will be getting a new anime series. In addition to the announcement, a new key visual was released along with information on the cast.
The cast of the new project includes:
- Miku Itō as Kuroe Ayase
- Rie Takahashi as Azuki Mochizuki
- Reina Ueda as Maria Arisu
- Manaka Iwami as Koma Takanashi
- Kenshō Ono as Raito Ayase
- Takeo Ōtsuka as Ruka Setoguchi
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Reo Serizawa
- Nobuhiko Okamoto as Kiyotake Setoguchi
Furthermore, HoneyWorks has just released the music video for their new song, “Ima, Koi ga Hajimare” (Love Begins Now), featuring the new character Azuki Mochizuki, voiced by Rie Takahashi. The video explores Azuki’s feelings for her childhood friend, Ruka Setoguchi.
HoneyWorks “Confess Your Love Committee” has released two anime films and a six-episode television anime special. The first film, titled “I’ve Always Liked You,” premiered in April 2016. Meanwhile, the second film, titled “The Moment You Fall in Love,” opened in Japan in December 2016. In November 2017, the committee released their anime special “Our love has always been 10 centimeters apart.”Fans can watch both films and the special on Crunchyroll.
The CHICO with HoneyWorks music group recently reunited after taking a break in 2023. The group will make their return by performing the theme songs for the anime series “With You, Our Love Will Make It Through” and “May I Ask for One Final Thing?“
