Dragonwell Publishing has announced the official novelization of Nihon Falcom’s action RPG Ys IX: Monstrum Nox. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana novelization author Anna Kashina returns as the author of Monstrum Nox, which will release in spring 2026.
Pre-orders for the Ys IX: Monstrum Nox novelization will open in October 2025, with digital and physical hardcover versions of the novel releasing first in spring 2026. The softcover version will release in summer 2026, and NIS America is displaying the novelization at their PAX West 2025 booth (Arch Expo Hall, Booth 625). Attendees who visit the booth can receive cards and promotional bookmarks containing a link to an early excerpt.
