75.4% of all Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition copies sold for Nintendo Switch 2 were physical copies, according to the CD Projekt Red H1 2025 earnings presentation. CD Projekt Red’s first Nintendo Switch 2 version is proving to be very successful for both the company and physical games, as only 24.6% opted for the digital version of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition.

Physical copies of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 include the full game data on a 64 GB cart. This means that players simply need to insert the game into a Switch 2 to start it, but players are still encouraged to download updates for the best possible and up-to-date experience.

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition utilizes DLSS upscaling technology in four modes in handheld and docked modes, each with performance and quality variants. The exact DLSS version has not been disclosed, however.

In addition, Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.3 is available on Nintendo Switch 2, Mac, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The patch includes the following additions:

  • New Vehicles, available via side jobs
    • Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru
    • Rayfield Caliburn “Mordred”

  • Rayfield’s CrystalCoat is now available for more vehicles, including motorcycles.
  • Added 27 new NPCs that can be spawned in Photo Mode, including Rita Wheeler, the Cassel twins, fixers, Dum Dum, and more.
  • You can now switch between alternative outfits for NPCs spawned in Photo Mode.
