The official website for the TV anime adaptation of the Hisaya Nakajo’s Hana-Kimi manga series revealed new cast and staff members. The anime had its first episode world premiere at the Anime NYC 2025 event on Saturday.

Natsuki Takemura directs the anime at Signal.MD, and Shigeru Ueda is the assistant director. Takao Yoshioka is in charge of series scripts, Shi Yi Su is the character designer, Masaru Yokoyama is the music composer, and Jin Aketagawa is the sound director.
What’s more, Crunchyroll will stream the new Hana-Kimi anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS and India.
Hisaya Nakajo published the Hana-Kimi manga in Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume magazine from 1996 to 2004. A total of 23 volumes were released in Japan, with VIZ Media releasing the English edition of the manga. Nakajo passed away at the age of 50 in October 2023, and her legacy continues with the new anime series.
