The VIZ Media panel at Anime NYC 2025 revealed more cast members for the TV anime adaptation of Shu Sakuratani’s Rooster Fighter manga, which premieres in spring 2026. A world premiere event for the first episode of Rooster Fighter is also being held at Anime NYC.
The new cast members for the Rooster Fighter anime includes:
- Yuko Kaida as Kugone
- Natsumi Fujiwara as Hikari
- Jun Kasama as Yuji
- Akio Otsuka as Keizan
- Hikaru Tono as Sara
The cast of the anime includes:
- Kenta Miyake as Keiji
- Mariko Honda as Elizabeth
- Shiori Izawa as Piyoko
- Tomohiro Ono as Keisuke
- Mitsuaki Kanuka as Morio
The staff of the anime includes:

Shu Sakuratani’s Rooster Fighter manga made its debut on Hero’s Inc.’s Comiplex back in December 2020. 10 volumes of the manga have been released in Japan as of July 4, 2025. Lastly, VIZ Media licensed the Rooster Fighter manga in English and describes the story as follows:
