Pokémon TCG Pocket Secluded Springs Expansion Launches on August 28

The Pokémon Company announced the Pokémon TCG Pocket “Secluded Springs” expansion will launch on August 28 with a new themed booster pack featuring fan-favorite Pokémon as originally discovered in the Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver video games, including Legendary Pokémon Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. There will also be Pokémon from the Johto and Hoenn regions.

Fans can also look forward to the following events after the Pokémon TCG Pocket “Secluded Springs” expansion launches:

• Zoroark Drop Event (September 2 at 11 p.m. PDT to September 12 at 10:59 p.m. PDT): Take on special solo battles to obtain new promo cards, including Zoroark. 
• Bonus Week (September 6 at 11 p.m. PDT to September 13 at 10:59 p.m. PDT): Tackle new Bonus Week missions to obtain pack hourglasses and other rewards. 
• Wonder Pick Event (September 13 at 11 p.m. PDT to September 23 at 10:59 p.m. PDT): Obtain new promo cards featuring Miltank and Phanpy, as well as event shop tickets by completing missions. 
• Water-type Pokémon Mass Outbreak Event (September 24 at 11 p.m. PDT to September 30 at 10:59 p.m. PDT): Cards relating to Water-type Pokémon will appear in rare picks and bonus picks. 

Moreover, Mega Evolution is coming to Pokémon TCG Pocket alongside a new season this fall. The new Pokémon TCG Pocket season will feature Mega Altaria, Mega Gyarados, and Mega Blaziken. 

Previously, the Pokémon TCG Pocket Wisdom of Sea and Sky expansion was released on July 30. The expansion brought beloved Pokémon native to the Johto region, including Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile, as well as the Legendary Pokémon Lugia and Ho-Oh.
