Remedy Entertainment has released art to commemorate the company’s 30th anniversary. Additionally, it has confirmed that it will be collaborating with iam8bit and Lost in Cult on new merchandise for the anniversary celebrations.
In a blog post, Remedy revealed the art, created by Valentina Paz. It features characters from several of the developer’s franchises, such as Jesse Faden and Dylan Faden from Control and Alan Wake, Alex Casey, Saga Anderson, Alice Wake, and the old Gods of Asgard from Alan Wake. Additionally, Remedy confirmed a collection of merchandise made in collaboration with iam8bit will go live on August 21. The collection includes a shirt based on Max Payne, an Oh Deer Diner thermos set, and more.
Lost in Cult will also release Alan Wake: Design Works. It features the full “Return” manuscript from Alan Wake 2, signatures from Ilkka Villi and Matthew Poretta, plus Sam Lake, Kyle Rowley, and Janne Pulkkinen if you are within the first 500 to order, and more. In a new financial report from Remedy Entertainment, the company shared a development on Control 2 and the Max Payne 1-2 remakes. Additionally, Remedy confirmed that Control has officially passed 5 million copies sold.
The financial report reveals that four games are currently in active development at Remedy: FBC: Firebreak, which will continue to receive new updates, Control 2, the Max Payne 1-2 remakes, and an unannounced “new project.” While details about this new project are scarce, it’s possible that it might be a new entry in the Alan Wake franchise. When speaking about both Control 2 and the Max Payne remakes, Remedy said that both games are still on track to meet its next milestones and continue to progress through full production.
