Akatsuki Games announced its Anime NYC 2025 plans for Kaiju No. 8: The Game, which will be exhibited at booth #1907 with a playable demo version. Anime NYC 2025 will be held from August 21 to 24 at the Javits Convention Center in New York.
The Kaiju No. 8: The Game booth at Anime NYC 2025 will feature a game demo corner with the latest demo version of the game. Photo opportunities will be available with a personalized Japan Defense Force-style ID card, and the booth features an LED video wall showcasing the cinematic official trailer and gameplay. In addition, attendees who visit the booth have a chance to obtain exclusive giveaways with prizes like limited-edition microfiber glasses cleaning cloth and illustration stickers featuring original game art and character illustrations.
Kaiju No. 8: The Game launches August 31 for iOS via App Store, Android via Google Play, and PC via Steam. Since the game exceeded 850,000 pre-registrations, all players will receive 100,000 Credits, 1,000 Dimensional Crystals, and The Game Gacha Ticket x10, and 4-star playable characters [Aiming for Greater Heights] Mina Ashiro and [Blade Specialist] Soshiro Hoshina at launch.
Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 is streaming with English dubs and subs on Crunchyroll. This is in addition to all 12 episodes of the first season and the side story episode “Hoshina’s Day Off.” Aurora performs the opening theme song “You Can’t Run From Yourself.” OneRepublic performs the ending theme song “Beautiful Colors.”
Kotono Mitsuishi joins the cast of Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 as Kikoru’s late mother Hikaru Shinomiya. Other new cast members include Hiroki Yasumoto as Eiji Hasegawa, Kana Hanazawa as Rin Shinonome, and Koki Uchiyama as Gen Narumi.
