A new trailer for Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urðr Hunt -Path of the little Challenger- was released, confirming that a new short film titled Makuai no Kusabi will screen alongside the compilation film on October 31. A new trailer and key visual for

Kengo Kawanishi returns as Mikazuki Augus alongside Yoshimasa Hosoya as Orga Itsuka. Original director Tatsuyuki Nagai returns to direct the movie and new short film.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urðr Hunt -Path of the little Challenger- is part of a new 10th anniversary project. The film is a reformatted and re-edited version of all 12 episodes originally distributed via the Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans G ​smartphone app. A release in North America is also planned.

The original broadcast of Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans premiered in October 2015 in Japan. The anime aired for two seasons spanning 50 episodes. Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans is streaming on Crunchyroll with English dubs and subs.
