Sanrio and Sunblink announced Wheatflour Wonderland, the first-ever DLC expansion for Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Wheatflour Wonderland will launch on September 18 for $14.99 on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, and it will be free for Apple Arcade subscribers. 

In Hello Kitty Island AdventureWheatflour Wonderland, Kuromi and My Melody accidentally spill a magical potion in Hello Kitty’s cafe, opening a portal to the realm. Cogimyun appears inside Wheatflour Wonderland with an urgent request, asking players to restore the Wheatflour Guardians and unlock the Ancient Citadel, where a great treasure resides.

In addition, Cogimyun joins as a new friend with 35 levels of friendship, along with new quests, abilities, and furniture. Ebi Fry and Cogimyon also appear as friends with new unlockable mini-games, which offer prizes and themed furniture. Players will also be able to create and customize their own magic wands to cast magic and transform into critters and items. These wands can also open access to new puzzles and challenges. 

There are a slew of new outfits and accessories, too. Players can find 100 Wheathearts around the world and exchange them at the Wheatheart Tree for themed rewards, and Noodle Grass can also be procured to make new noodle-based foods, including instant ramen, spaghetti with meatballs and more.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure is now available on Nintendo Switch, Apple Arcade, and PC via Steam, and it’s coming to PlayStation 5 on August 5. Physical editions for Hello Kitty Island Adventure will cost $39.99 and be available at local retailers on August 29. On November 7, the $59.99 Gift Box edition will be released featuring Deluxe Starter and Crafting Bundles, a printed Critter and Fish guide, a set of exclusive collectable cards, Tophat’s Memories, and a premium double-sided poster.
