Razer announced the launch of the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro lineup of gaming headsets for PlayStation, PC, and Xbox. The new lineup has platform-optimized models with ultra-low latency wireless audio, clear voice communication, and tailored sound tunning.
The BlackShark V3 Pro is the first wireless gaming headset headset to feature Razer’s Gen-2 HyperSpeed Wireless technology, which offers ultra-responsive audio with latency as low as 10 milliseconds. Razer’s included 12 mm HyperClear Full Band Mic brings studio-grade voice capture at a professional-level 48 kHz sampling rate and a unidirectional pickup pattern.
The BlackShark V3 Pro features advanced hybrid active noise cancellation, which is powered by a 4-microphone system that filters out ambient noise. This is in combination with memory foam ear cushions and a closed-back design. The Gen-2 TriForce 50 mm drivers with ultra-thin bio-cellulose diaphragms bring clean, natural sound with sharper frequency separation. Moreover, the redesigned driver plug reduces harmonic distortion by 50% for clarity and offers 75% increase in magnet field strength for enhanced spatial accuracy.
Moreover, the headset supports THX Spatial Audio 7.1.4 channels on PC. This technology creates a more precise and layered sound environment, which in turn brings precise positional audio and greater directionality in supported media. The headset also supports Tempest 3D Audio on PS5 and Windows Sonic on Xbox Series X|S.
The BlackShark V3 Pro also supports four versatile connection modes: 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, USB-A, and 3.5 mm. This is in addition to simultaneous 2.4 GHz HyperSpeed Wireless and Bluetooth audio for dual-device connectivity in voice chat or calls. The headset also has 12 pro-tuned EQ profiles for popular FPS games with support for up to nine custom EQ profiles.
