Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has been rated for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 by the Korea Ratings Board on July 25. A rating indicates that Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is being prepared for release by Nintendo in Korea, and many rumors indicate that the release date could be revealed at a Nintendo Direct before the month of July is over.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond was previously showcased at the April 2 Nintendo Direct, which revealed the game’s Nintendo Switch 2 Edition version. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will include two different graphics options, Quality Mode and Performance Mode, which output at 4K 60 FPS and 1080p 120 FPS, respectively. Both of these modes will support HDR, and there’s even the option to play with mouse controls with Joy-Con 2.

Here’s an overview of the Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, via Nintendo:

Samus Aran has been unexpectedly transported to the planet Viewros. As she explores the planet for answers, Samus is granted Psychic Abilities – mysterious and ancient powers that allow her to control the trajectory of her beams, operate mechanisms and open doors. Why were these powers bestowed upon Samus and what will her fate be? The threads intertwining beyond space and time will weave a new tale when Metroid Prime 4: Beyond launches on Nintendo Switch this year.

Lastly, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will release in 2025 for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
