Ironmouse Leaves VShojo, More Departures Including Kson and AmaLee (UPDATED)

Popular VTuber Ironmouse posted a video to her official YouTube channel stating that she has left her talent agency VShojo. In the video, Ironmouse mentions that not only has she not received the revenue from her activities at the company, but also that the company owes over $500,000 that were promised to be donated to the Immune Deficiency Foundation.

Furthermore, the charity proceeds from Ironmouse’s subathon have yet to be passed to the charity in question. She also states that she was asked by her lawyer to wait as the legal procedures unfold. As of the time of writing, VShojo has yet to comment on the matter, and Ironmouse will continue her activities as an indie V-Tuber.

Update from original July 21 article: In addition, prominent VTubers like AmaLee, Kuro, and Kson have already announced their departures from VShojo. Kson publicly left VShojo in a livestream where she directly confronted the VShojo Japan branch’s CEO on call. Many VTubers that were once under the VShojo umbrella are expected to continue as independent talent. 

Since the release of Ironmouse’s video, the Tiltify charity for the Immune Deficiency Foundation has crossed the $500,000 mark, as of July 22. All donations on Tiltify go directly to the Immune Deficiency Foundation.
