PlayStation and Arc System Works announced MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls will be playable at EVO 2025, which runs from August 1 to 3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Six characters will be playable in the MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls EVO 2025 demo: Captain America, Iron Man, Storm, Star Lord, Ms. Marvel, and Doctor Doom.
Moreover, PlayStation, Arc System Works, and Marvel Games will host the MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls “Developer Combat Panel” on August 1 at 8:00 p.m. PDT / 11:00 p.m. EDT. The panel will share new information about the game’s core mechanics.
On PlayStation Blog, MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls game director Kazuto “Pachi” Sekine said, “This is Sekine, Director of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. I’d like to express our thanks on behalf of the entire development team for the incredible response to the State of Play trailer. The game is still under development, but we’re really looking forward to sharing more in our Evo panel, and especially for fans to try it out for themselves with the very first trial version at the event. My hope is to ‘Assemble’ with all of the players and create an amazing game together. We’re trying out many new things to offer a fresh experience. I can’t wait to hear your feedback and thoughts.”
MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls is a brand-new 4v4 tag-fighting game developed by Arc System Works. The game will release in 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store as the first new Marvel fighting game in nearly ten years, with the last one being Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite. The game will have crossplay between platforms and English dub voices.
