A new trailer for the TV anime adaptation of Makoto Kudo’s My Awkward Senpai manga was released, confirming the anime will premiere in October 2025 on Tokyo MX and BS NTV channels. The trailer also revealed the opening theme song “Bukiyō na I love you” (The Awkward I love you) by angela, and more staff and cast members were revealed alongside a new key visual.
The cast of the My Awkward Senpai anime includes:

- Shōgo Sakata as Yū Kamegawa
- Ami Maeshima as Miho Hotta
- Mitsuki Saiga as Ritsu Kankaiji
Ayumu Kotake is directing the anime at Studio Elle. Mio Inoue is in charge of series scripts, Kenrō Tokuda is designing the characters, and Kōji Fujimoto is composing the music.
