A newly resurfaced post from the producer of the upcoming Mass Effect adaptation coming to Amazon Prime has revealed the series’ production staff. The post reveals that a majority of the production staff from the Fallout Amazon Prime series will work on Mass Effect.
In the post, producer and scriptwriter Daniel Casey says the following: “We have a great pilot script and series outline, the team that Amazon has in place (same team as Fallout, including the fantastic Scott Farris) is incredible.” Scott Farris is a senior development executive at Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video. He’s been part of the company for over a decade.
In 2024, Bethesda released the Fallout TV series on Amazon Prime. The series’ success affected the franchise drastically, jumping up the player rate for most of the games in the series. It also received several Emmys, including Outstanding Emerging Media Program and Outstanding Music Supervision. Season 2 of the series will air in December 2025. Further, season 3 has been greenlit.
The cast of the series includes Ella Purnell as Lucy MacLean, Aaron Moten as Maximus, Walton Goggins as Cooper Howard/The Ghoul, Moises Arias as Norm MacClean, and Kyle MacLachlan as Hank MacClean. Season 2 will also feature Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone) in an undisclosed role.
The Mass Effect Legendary Edition is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Players can experience the entire franchise, including Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 in order to prepare for the upcoming series. The next entry in the franchise is also in development.
