Groove Coaster: Future Performers Releases on July 31 for Switch in Japan

TAITO announced Groove Coaster: Future Performers, the next new entry in the long-running Groove Coaster rhythm game series, will launch on July 31 in Japan for Nintendo Switch. In addition, the game’s opening movie was released ahead of launch.

Groove Coaster: Future Performers, unlike previous entries in the Groove Coaster series, is a completely new game redesigned from the ground up. New elements have been introduced across all aspects of the game, including controls, music score, and the world setting. Do not miss this all-new Groove Coaster.

      • Two Playstyles – Groove Coaster: Future Performers offers two playstyles, “Basic” and “Advanced,” allowing players to choose according to their skill level.
      • Visual Expression – With a “visual expression” that will get you even more hooked to your favorite songs, the game features a “horizontal full-screen display” for an immersive experience with a wide viewing angle. Enjoy your favorite tracks in a world that feels like a music video.
      • Rich Song Lineup – The game will include a diverse assortment of popular songs, from J-POP to Virtual YouTuber tracks, Vocaloid, and Touhou Project arrangements, along with many other popular tracks.
      • Story Mode – Play in a world of music with the series’ first Story Mode. Characters are voiced by Reiji Kawashima, Ayane Sakura, Shirakami Fubuki, and Sakura Miko, and many other characters are set to appear.
