While not all my predictions for Chapter 24 of Boruto Two Blue Vortex came true, one of them thankfully did! I’m definitely satisfied with how things turned out in the end, but there’s a looming thought in my mind that tells me that something worse is going to happen. While we must wait another month for the next chapter, let’s discuss what happened within Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 24 and what we can expect in chapter 25.
Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 24 starts with a flashback of Boruto explaining the plan to Kawaki. The general idea is that Boruto wanted Kawaki to help in the fight against Jura so that he can buy some time to Flying Raijin them both to Konohamaru’s location and have everyone leave towards Konoha. Now that Amado has removed Kawaki’s limiters, he’s a bit more capable of keeping Jura busy. And as soon as the flashback ends, we indeed see Kawaki holding his own against Jura.
A Dangerous Situation Turns Into a Mystery in Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chapter 24 (Spoilers Ahead)
When Jura eventually gets pinned by Kawaki, he pulls out a book from his clothes. He compliments Kawaki’s new strength and mentions that he isn’t the only one who has acquired such a boost in power. Himawari and Sarada are the main people he mentions who also achieved transformations in strength. He begins to develop the theory that the concept of “love” is what enables people to achieve “extraordinary evolution.” After asking Kawaki’s opinion on it, Jura is instead met with an explosion coming from Kawaki’s hand.
Of course, Jura isn’t affected by it and continues to converse with Kawaki instead. He eventually catches on that Naruto is still alive after looking into Kawaki’s sincere eyes to defeat him. Jura knows that Naruto is the one thing in the world Kawaki wants to protect, so this huge transformation coming from Kawaki to defeat Jura makes it seem as if Naruto must be protected from him. This makes Jura pretty excited because he now aims to consume Naruto, in hopes of learning more about love.
So….What Now?
But before Kawaki can get his hands on him, Boruto enters the scene and states that he is ready to use his Flying Raijin. Jura, surprisingly, lets Boruto and Kawaki go away, but Kawaki has a few words left in him. For some weird reason, Kawaki gives Jura credit for his intuition and instincts in setting his eyes on Naruto. Regardless, he still wants to kill him though. Jura tells Kawaki that he is glad he talked to him and that he wants to meet again, to which Kawaki sticks up a middle finger in front of his face.
We then see Delta with Konohamaru and the gang. She was told to drop Boruto’s symbol nearby them so that the Flying Raijin would send Boruto and Kawaki alongside them, confirming my prediction that Delta was helping out. Soon enough, Boruto and Kawaki arrive on the scene, with Konohamaru unfortunately having to eat Kawaki’s shoe to the face. Nevertheless, with Moegi’s Thorn Soul Bulb at their hands and everyone safe, the escape to Konoha can commence.
What Could Be Next?
Near the end of this chapter, Kashin Koji discusses how Boruto’s actions are dangerous. Due to the events that occurred, the future has greatly shifted again. This might have to make Boruto and Kashin Koji go back to the drawing board to see how things need to be done going forward.
We also see Jura and Sasuke’s Humanoid Divine Tree discussing about Kawaki. Jura seems happy that Kawaki paid him a compliment, to which the Divine Tree responds with “totally ick”. It’s a cute little panel that shows how immature these Trees are, but I do wonder if Jura will try to team up with Kawaki in the future. With the way how Jura was being nice to Kawaki before, something tells me that Jura is trying to plan something to get Kawaki on his side. Whatever happens in Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 25, I just know it’s gonna be another banger of a read.
