The official X (formerly Twitter) account for Persona5: The Phantom X released a new statement in regard to the recent wave of player criticism that has emerged after the most recent update. The Persona5: The Phantom X operations team state that they have received many comments and feedback about the game, and they will be explaining future operation plans in the next version update broadcast.

In case you’re unaware, players have been increasingly dissatisfied with the game in the last couple of weeks. This is due to how Global has been operating at what the developers described as an ‘accelerated progress,” in order to catch up with the original Chinese servers. This included releasing several characters earlier than intended, but seemingly without the required compensation to balance things out.

Players have also complained about the lack of the soft pity system, where the gacha rates would steadily increase as the player got closer and closer to the guaranteed pity at 80 draws. Many have gone on to social media to complain about how hard of a time they’ve had in obtaining the latest characters.

Currently, Persona5: The Phantom X holds a 1.8-star rating on the Google Play Store, as well as a Mixed rating on Steam. We will keep you informed when SEGA and ATLUS disclose information about future plans for Persona5: The Phantom X.
