Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have revealed the first trailer for the upcoming Mortal Kombat II movie. The film will release in theaters on October 24.

Recently, Digital Eclipse announced its latest collection, the Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection. The game will release later in 2025 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch. The collection will documentary which focuses on the history of the franchise and how it came to be.
Additionally, after months of speculation, NetherRealm Studios confirmed Mortal Kombat 1 will no longer receive new DLC content. While there will be new balance adjustments and bug fixes, there will be no more additional characters or story chapters. The Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition is currently available now for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch.
On Nintendo Switch, Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition costs $59.99, while on other platforms, it costs $69.99. It includes movie skins for the upcoming Mortal Kombat II movie Johnny Cage, Shao Khan, Kitana, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero. The Definitive Edition also comes with the the previously released Khaos Reigns story expansion, extra cosmetics, and all of the DLC characters and Kameos.
