The staff for the Golden Kamuy anime have announced that the final arc will start airing in January 2026. Additionally, two prologue films will debut in theaters in October.
The movies, titled Golden Kamuy: Sapporo Beer Factory Arc, will release on October 10 and 31 in Japan. Awich x ALI performs the theme song, titled “Kogane no Kanata” (Beyond the Gold). Check out the first teaser trailer for the Golden Kamuy films below:
The first season of Golden Kamuy initially premiered in January 2018. The most recent season released in October 2022. The upcoming final arc of Golden Kamuy will wrap up the series’ story when it airs in January 2026. The anime thus far is available on Crunchyroll. The streaming service describes it as follows:
After the Immortal Sugimoto, AKA, Sugimoto Saichi, and the Ainu girl Asirpa reunited in the freezing land of Karafuto, Asirpa witnesses the death of Kiroranke and remembers the key to solving the mystery behind the missing gold. Sugimoto and Asirpa then renew their vows as partners.
