WEBTOON has announced that HYBE’s Dark Moon: The Blood Altar webtoon has passed 200 million global views after three years. It initially launched on the website in January 2022.
The Dark Moon: The Blood Altar webtoon is available to read now in 10 languages. It has accumulated 63.6 million views in the United States and 36.3 million in Spanish-speaking countries. The series held the number 1 spot in the fantasy category for 20 consecutive weeks in China. It held the same spot for 10 weeks in Germany. It also ranked among the top 10 Sunday webtoons for 26 straight weeks in North America and for 60 weeks in France. Further, an anime adaptation is in development for a release on Crunchyroll.

Earlier this month, Amuse Creative Studio announced the ELECEED webtoon series is getting a new TV anime adaptation in 2026. Hiroshi Nishikiori is directing the anime at Dandelion Animation Studio. Yōsuke Kuroda writes and oversees the series scripts, and Minami Sakura is the character designer. ELECEED launched in 2018, and it’s been serialized in over 10 languages since then. It’s one of NAVER WEBTOON’s top-performing battle-action webtoon with over 1.42 billion views globally. Other WEBTOON anime adaptations such as Teenage Mercenary are also in development.
