During Anime Expo 2025, Aniplex announced the anime adaptation of Yokusaru Shibata’s Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider manga will premiere in October 2025. A new official trailer and an interview video with the main cast were released, and Crunchyroll confirmed that it will stream Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider outside Japan.
The cast of Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider includes:

- Ai Kayano as Yuriko Okada (new)
- Kenichi Suzumura as Ichiyo Shimamura (new)
- Sōma Saitō as Mitsuha Shimamura (new)

Takahiro Ikezoe is the director of the Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider anime. Touko Machida is the series composition writer, and Cindy H. Yamauchi is the character designer. TeddyLoid is the composer, and LIDENFILMS is producing the anime.

Shibata first launched the manga with cooperation from Ishimori Production and Toei in the Monthly Hero’s magazine in 2018. The manga later moved to the Comiplex website, where it is still ongoing. Lastly, Hero’s published the 16th compiled volume on April 4.
