Pikmin 3 Deluxe Update 1.1.3 Patch Notes Released

Fixes a notable issue from update 1.1.2.

Nintendo released the version 1.1.3 update for Pikmin 3 Deluxe to fix a screen flicker issue on Nintendo Switch 2. The issue causes the entire screen to turn on and off during some scenes in Pikmin 3 Deluxe on Nintendo Switch 2, including the beginning and end of a day. The fix will also apply to the Pikmin 3 Deluxe demo at a later date.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe Update 1.1.3 Patch Notes

The following updates have been made when playing the game on Nintendo Switch 2:

General

  • Fixed an issue that occurs when playing on Nintendo Switch 2 where the entire screen will briefly turn off and on again in several scenes of the game, such as at the beginning and end of a day.
  • Several adjustments have been made to improve gameplay on Nintendo Switch 2.

Note: An update addressing the problem above has not been distributed for Pikmin 3 Deluxe Demo ver. However, we plan to perform the same fix as the full game in a future update.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe is available now for Nintendo Switch alongside a free demo, which supports save data transfers to the full game. As an added bonus, defeating the first boss in the demo and transferring save-data to the full version of Pikmin 3 Deluxe will immediately unlock the “Ultra-Spicy” difficulty option in the game.

Nintendo Switch 2 launched on June 5 for $449.99. A bundle is also available for $499.99 featuring Mario Kart World
