Aniplex announced that Alterna Vvelt: Blue Exorcist Another Story will launch on June 25 for Android and iOS in the US, UK, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Singapore, the Philippines, and Thailand. A release date for the PC version was not announced.
Previously, Aniplex delayed the release of Alterna Vvelt: Blue Exorcist Another Story in order for further quality improvements to be made. At the time, the development team aimed to release the game “by the first half of 2025.” During the extended development time, the team adjusted game balance and production, improved the UI, and fixed other bugs.
The new Blue Exorcist game will feature original story by Blue Exorcist creator Kazue Kato, with True Cross Academy serving as the main setting. Fukurow note will perform the theme song “Irodorareta Risō e” (Toward a Colored Ideal) for the new title. Players may pre-register by following the game’s official Twitter account or going to the official website.
