Square Enix announced Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is coming to Xbox Series X|S in winter 2025. As previously announced, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is also coming to Nintendo Switch 2, but its unclear if its around the same time as the Xbox Series X|S version.
Previously, Square Enix revealed various new 4K Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade screenshots for the Nintendo Switch 2 version, which was announced during the Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 presentation. This version of the game includes both Final Fantasy VII Remake and the Episode INTERmission DLC featuring Yuffie Kisaragi.
According to Naoki Hamaguchi, the power of Nintendo Switch 2 allows Square Enix to “recreate Midgar with full specs,” making Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and the series possible on the platform. Hamaguchi also has high hopes to build a strong partnership between Nintendo and the Final Fantasy brand. Once again, Hamaguchi’s comments essentially confirm that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 will both come to Nintendo Switch 2 at some point.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth are available now for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
