Konami released a new gameplay trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater to highlight more in-game footage and the returning “Snake vs Monkey” mini-game. As shown in the gameplay trailer, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater players capture the Pipo Monkeys is back for PS5 and Steam.
Previously, Konami released the updated opening movie for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The opening movies features visuals that combine cutscenes from the game and abstract depictions of a snake skeleton. Norihiko Hibino wrote the main theme, simply titled “Snake Eater,” and Cynthia Harrell performed it. The song is identical to the version released in 2004.
Konami first announced Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in May 2023. In October 2023, Konami revealed a look at the game’s graphics in an Unreal Engine 5 trailer. During the recent Xbox Games Showcase in June 2025, Konami showcased several more of the remake’s story, graphics, and gameplay, and the publisher also revealed physical editions.
