It's time to step up to the plate.

    Published:

Blizzard released a new trailer for the collaboration event between Overwatch 2 and Capcom’s Street Fighter 6. The event will be held from May 20 to June 2.

The Overwatch 2 and Street Fighter 6 collaboration will include the following cosmetics: Hanzo as Ryu, Juno as Chun-Li, Widowmaker as Cammy, Zenyatta as Dhalsim, Winston as Blanka, Sigma as M. Bison, Soldier: 76 as Guile, and Kiriko as Juri. There will also be fighting moves as emotes and limited-time challenges, allowing players to earn up to 40,000 XP, exclusive sprays, voice lines, and a new player title.

Overwatch 2 initially released in 2022 as a free-to-play sequel to the 2016 hero shooter. The game is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. While the game was supposed to release a full PvE campaign, Blizzard cancelled it in 2024. Instead, the game has received collaborations with media properties such as DiabloCowboy Bebop, Transformers, and most recently, Gundam Wing

Street Fighter 6 is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It will release for Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, alongside the game’s next DLC character, Elena. The latest fighting pass, titled “Get Ready for Elena,” is available now in Street Fighter 6

On Nintendo Switch 2, Street Fighter 6 will feature a new Local Wireless mode, allowing for local play between users with the system. Local Wireless also features Avatar Matches, allowing players to use their custom avatar from World Tour.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version will also support tabletop mode with single Joy-Con play, Gyro Battle using dynamic motion controls, and Calorie Contest Mode, which allows players to test their strength and endurance with exercises. Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 version are available now in the Nintendo eShop.
