Microids has announced that it will be releasing Syberia – Remastered for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in Q4 2025. The original game was released in 2002.
Syberia is a PC adventure game franchise featuring puzzles and point-and-click gameplay. The most recent entry in the series, Syberia: The World Before, released in 2022 for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. The game honors the memory of Benoît Sokal, who sadly passed away during development in 2021.
The upcoming Syberia – Remastered will release in 2025 and modernize the first entry in the franchise. It will feature overhauled graphics, reimagined puzzles, and modernized gameplay. However, the rest of the game remains untouched. The Steam page describes Syberia – Remastered as follows:
More than 20 years after its original release, Syberia is reborn in a fully modernized version. Rediscover its iconic locations and unforgettable characters through a stunning visual overhaul, redesigned gameplay, and the same captivating storytelling that made it a classic.
