Akatsuki Games and Too Kyo Games have unfortunately announced this morning that they will end the service for the TRIBE NINE mobile game on November 27, 2025 (JST).
According to Akatsuki Games, since the game’s launch, the development and operation teams have strived to provide excellent service and improve player experience, and indeed, the game had even reached 10 million downloads worldwide, even briefly becoming the top free game in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store on Android in Japan, which many fans hoped that meant the game would be here to stay.
But alas, the developer has decided that after careful consideration, they will be ending the game’s service. As a result of this announcement, the previously planned Chapter 4 update has been cancelled. This also extends to all scheduled updates and new content releases that have been planned, such as the addition of Ichinosuke Akiba and Saizo Akiba to the game, which were originally scheduled on the roadmap.
Players who used Paid Enigma Entities to unlock Armed Support and Advanced Support, as well as to purchase Contract Levels for the Revenio Support Contract, where Saizo Akiba’s Skin could be acquired, will be promptly refunded after the Support Contract ends, and as of the time of writing, Enigma Entities and the Daily Pass can no longer be bought.
Developed in collaboration with Akatsuki Games, the Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE and Danganronpa development team, led by Kazutaka Kodaka, TRIBE NINE was a game set in 20XX, where groups of teens endure losses overcome menacing enemies in Neo Tokyo, a futuristic city dominated by games to the death.
