The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Tenichi and Suzunosuke’s The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior light novel series confirmed that the anime will continue with Season 2. Suzunosuke also drew a new illustration to celebrate the announcement of The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen Season 2.
The first season of The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen premiered in July 2023. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime, which was streamed on HIDIVE as it aired in Japan. Sentai Filmworks also released the anime on Blu-ray in October 2024.
Tenichi began serializing the original story in the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in April 2018. The series is still ongoing, with Ichijinsha publishing the story in print with illustrations from Suzunosuke. Akiko Kawano’s manga adaptation began in June 2023 in Ichijinsha’s Monthly Comic Zero-Sum magazine in June 2023, and it is also still ongoing.
