PowerA has released a new “Night Blossom” Advantage Plus Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S. The new controller is available now for $42.99.
PowerA has designed the new Xbox Series X|S Night Blossom controller specifically for competitive play. It features the company’s patent-pending Quick-Twist Thumbsticks, which allows players to adjust the height of the thumbsticks on the fly, without needing extra tools or parts. Three options (standard, medium, and tall) are available.
It also includes Hall Effect sticks, mappable rear buttons, dual rumble motors, impulse triggers, an ergonomic design, and further customization via the Gamer HQ app. Additionally, the USB-C wired cable is 10ft long, creating further flexibility and freedom in where you play. It is available to order now via PowerA’s official website, as well as through other online retailers such as Amazon.
On May 1, Xbox raised prices of its Series X|S consoles and accessories. Additionally, Xbox first-party games will cost $80 in Holiday 2025. In a statement, Microsoft said the following about the price raise: “We understand that these changes are challenging, and they were made with careful consideration given market conditions and the rising cost of development. Looking ahead, we continue to focus on offering more ways to play more games across any screen and ensuring value for Xbox players.”
The new prices affect devices such as the Xbox Series S 1TB ($429.99), the Xbox Series X ($599.99), the Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Special Edition ($729.99), and the core Xbox Wireless Controller ($64.99). The new pricing for first-party games will likely affect titles such as Fable, Perfect Dark, Gears of War: E-Day, and more.
