Kadokawa announced a TV anime adaptation of Ippei Nara’s 29-Sai Dokushin Chūken Bōkensha no Nichijō manga series is in production. A teaser trailer for the anime was released, along with details about the anime’s main cast and staff.

Riki Fukushima directs the 29-Sai Dokushin Chūken Bōkensha no Nichijō anime series and oversees the series scripts at studio HORNETS. Yoshihiro Nagamori is the character designer. The main cast of the anime includes Makoto Furukawa as Shinonome Hajime, and Sayumi Suzushiro as Rirui.
Nara launched the manga in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in January 2016. Kodansha will publish the manga’s 19th volume on May 9, and the manga is currently available digitally on the Magazine Pocket service.
Lastly, here’s an overview of the manga series, translated by Crunchyroll:
Shinonome Hajime spent his childhood in the slums, desperately seeking strength in order to survive. He is now living a life of ease and comfort as a village adventurer in the Komai village.
One day on a quest, he dives into a dungeon and there is a girl who is about to be eaten by the weakest monster, Slime!
The girl’s name is Lirui. She had gone into the dungeon alone to survive. Abandoned by her parents and with nowhere to go, Hajime can’t leave her alone and decides to take Lirui back to the village to live with her!?
A slapstick adventure fantasy with laughter and sometimes tears(?) weaved together by a clumsy but caring single adventurer and a straightforward and innocent girl begins!
