ATLUS has seemingly updated the name for a potential Persona 4 Remake domain titled P4RE.jp. The domain was originally registered on March 21, 2025, and it follows similar nomenclature to the P3RE.jp domain, which was filed for Persona 3 Reload before its reveal at Xbox Games Showcase in June 2023.
The update to the P4RE website follows a similar pattern to past Persona domains, which involves a move to owned nameservers instead of the Onamae nameservers for the generic landing page. The website currently returns an error, and it doesn’t feature an indicated address for the domain’s host. However, it’s worth noting again that Persona 4 Remake is not official at the time of this writing, and any official ties between the domain and ATLUS remain unclear. If it’s officially tied to ATLUS, then an announcement may be imminent.
Before the P4RE.jp domain was registered, Persona 4/Persona 4 Golden OST vocalist and artist Shihoko Hirata announced she’s begun recording for a new unannounced game. Hirata stated that the piece she’s working on is really tough, and she’s nervous about getting the recording right for the new game. She plans to do her absolute best, however..
Hirata shared a photo of what appears to be MIT Studio (Studio 2), which is the same studio used to record many of the Persona soundtracks over the years. One of the MIT Studio’s most recent works was Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis -The Answer-. However, this is not direct confirmation that the game she’s working on is Persona 4 remake.
The latest entry in the Persona series, Persona 3 Reload, is available now along with the Episode Aigis -The Answer-. Both are available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
