Niantic announced the Monster Hunter Now Spring Festival event will be live from April 14 to April 27. During the event, hunters can enjoy festive quests, exclusive spring-themed rewards, and the Monster Hunter Now debut of Ebony Odogaron.
Ebony Odogaron is much more dangerous and ferocious than its regular counterpart, and during the Monster Hunter Now Spring Festival event, the monster can be spotted in the wild. Specifically, Ebony Odogaron appears in all habitats (forest, desert, swamp, tundra) and emits black smoke from its mouth, according to the event’s blog post.
What’s more, players can collect Spring and Rainbow Eggs by slaying target monsters and participating in special Hunt-a-thons. There will also be limited-time quests that include slaying Ebony Odogaron and Kulu-Ya-Ku. Starting April 18, guaranteed Giant Egg Toy encounters will appear at Hunt-a-thon points, with rewards such as a Spring Festival 2025 Medal, a Spring Festival 2025 Guild Card background, Spring 2025 Armor & Weapon Tickets, and more Spring and Rainbow Eggs.
Monster Hunter Wilds is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Final Weapon gave Monster Hunter Wilds a 4/5 score, noting that it’s an excellent entry in the long-running series and a worthy follow-up to Capcom’s most successful game ever. Despite the performance issues, Capcom delivers one of the best-feeling combat systems in Monster Hunter Wilds along with the franchise’s first legitimate story mode.
Lastly, Monster Hunter Now is available now on iOS and Android.
