Kojima Productions announced Death Stranding has surpassed a grand total of 20 million players worldwide across the original game and Death Stranding: Director’s Cut. The studio thanks the 20 million players, or “Porters,” for their support of Death Stranding as anticipation for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach grows.

Milan Records recently released the new track “To The Wilder” by acclaimed artist Woodkid, which is the lead single for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach. Moreover, Woodkid will release an album of original music written for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach at a later date.

Kojima Productions and Titan Books announced The Art of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach will be released in fall 2025. Serving as a follow-up to the original art book, the new book will feature illustrations and insight into the characters, scenery, and other development materials.

Tickets for the Death Stranding Strands of Harmony World Tour are now on sale at the tour’s official website. The orchestra concert comes to major cities around the world from November 2025 through March 2026. It will feature arrangements by Ludvig Forssell, Low Roar, and other artists, with synchronized HD videos playing on screen to relieve the stories of Death Stranding and Death Stranding 2: On The Beach.

Death Stranding was first released as a PlayStation 4 exclusive in 2019. The game stars Norman Reedus as Sam Porter Bridges, a delivery man who must travel across a broken America and reunite it. In our review of the PC release, we stated the game creates “an experience like nothing else on the market that is fresh and extremely thought provoking.”

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach will release on June 26 for PlayStation 5 exclusively, and pre-orders are now available in the PlayStation Store.
