To celebrate the launch of Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, Kotobukiya announced its official Formula Skell Kit is getting a re-release in October 2025 in Japan. In the US, it will be released in November 2025.
Originally released in 2016, the plastic model Xenoblade Chronicles X Formula Skell Kit is 1/48 scale, stands at 175mm tall, and costs 8,800 yen (tax included) in Japan and $78.99 in the US, Pre-orders are available now until April 22 at the Kotobukiya Online Shop.
Monolith Soft recently released new artwork to celebrate the launch of Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition in Japan. The 2015 game is finally set to break free from the Wii U catalog, following nearly a decade of heavy fan demand.
The release of Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition means every title from the Xenoblade Chronicles series will finally be available on Nintendo Switch. The game was easily one of the most requested Wii U ports since 2017.
Monolith Soft has finally brought Xenoblade Chronicles X over with plenty of enhancements. Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is set to include numerous updates and new features, including a completely overhauled UI and an on-screen Overdrive guide in combat.
Additionally, various new story elements are set to be intertwined into the main story, with Monolith Soft looking to resolve many of the mysteries left for players to ponder on in the original game. There will not be an external menu to access this content, so we can expect all of it to be interwoven into the main story.
Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition launches on March 20 for Nintendo Switch. The game costs $59.99 in the Nintendo eShop, and it may be redeemed with a Nintendo Switch Game Voucher.
