LEED Publishing have announced that an anime adaptation of Rocket Shokai and artist Nakashima723’s Scum of the Brave manga is in development. The anime, produced by OLM, will air on NTV and other affiliates.

Rocket Shokai initially released the story in 2016. The update will get re-published into novel formats with revisions. Further, a manga adaptation released in 2018 and its seventh volume will launch on March 21. Manga Planet, the English digital publisher of the manga, describes the series as follows:
In an alternate 21st century, rich mafia members can turn into “Demon Kings” through increasingly popular ether-enhancement surgery, and the bounty hunters called “Braves” are the ones called upon to take them down. Yashiro only wants the simple pleasures in life – pizza, beer, and card games. During AnimeJapan 2025, there will be new details revealed about several different anime. One of them includes the upcoming anime adaptation of Umikaze Minamino’s Kunon the Sorcerer Can See Through light novel series. The cast of the Kunon the Sorcerer anime includes Saori Hayami as Kunon Gurion and Maaya Uchida as Iko. The event will also feature news pertaining to A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai.
Lastly, the anime adaptation of Scum of the Brave will release at some point in the coming months and years. The Western distributor and exact release date for the series is currently unknown.
