Aniplex and bilibili announced the To Be Hero X anime will premiere on April 6. The new series will replace One Piece on Fuji TV at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays, as One Piece moves to a new evening timeslot.

Outside of Asia, Crunchyroll will stream the To Be Hero X anime. Netflix and Amazon Prime Video will stream the anime in Japan.

To Be Hero and To Be Heroine director Li Haolin is credited for the original work and director role at BeDream, which presents the project with Aniplex and bilibili. Solo Leveling and Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition composer Hiroyuki Sawano composes the main theme song “Jeopardy.” Sawano, Kohta Yamamoto, Hidefumi Kenmochi, DAIKI, Shuhei Mutsuki, Hideyuki Fukasawa, Misaki Umase, and Ryūichi Takada are credited for the anime’s music.
SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:Rei performs the opening theme song “INERTIA” and SennaRin performs the ending theme song “KONTINUUM.”
Emon Animation Company’s original 12-episode To Be Hero anime series ran from October to December 2016 in Japan. Each episode was 11 minutes long, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime outside of Japan. The cast of the anime included Kenjirō Tsuda, Moa Tsukino, and Takeshi Maeda.
